Start off in sweaty, crazy, legandary and mythical Havana, then make your way to the southern coast where the famous colonial pearl of Trinidad awaits you. After several days living in the midst of UNESCO protected world famous heritage sites, head on up to Varadero for some serious relaxation on a beach that is often mentioned as one of the worlds top five beaches.

All tours can start any day of the year. The only thing you need to organize yourself is a plane ticket. With that in hand, let the adventure begin.

Havana | Cubas mystic, lively, colorful, warm and never-sleeping capital. A city that compares to nothing you have ever seen. From the cobblestoned music-filled streets of Old Havana to the famous Malecón ocean walk and onto happening Vedado and Miramar, Havana is one of the worlds most exciting, crazy, strange and breathtaking cities.

Trinidad | World famous colonial pearl on the Southern coast. UNESCO protected town with cobblestoned streets and houses in every color that exists. Music all over, lots of atmospheric restaurants.

Varadero | 20 kilometers of uninterrupted white sandy beach facing a tourist brochure turquoise ocean keeping a year long perfect temperature. There's nothing more to say. If you like beaches, you'll love Varadero.

- All tours are private. Meaning it's just you and yours with a guide, you'll never do a tour with us as part of a group.

* The Trinidad nature drive includes some LIGHT hiking to waterfalls. Normal street shoes are fine. If you do not want to hike on this excursion, please let us know when booking your trip.

* The Trinidad nature drive is not included in 1 PX trips to cut down on costs for a single traveler.

Rates are low season rates and are valid if the entire Varadero section of the trip is between May 1 - June 30 and September 1 - October 31. For all other periods, please contact us for an individual quote.

Includes: Breakfast every morning while in Havana and Trinidad, All inclusive (food, drinks) while in Varadero, all accommodations (Casa particular in Havana and Trinidad and 4 star all inclusive resort in Varadero) and transfers including private airport pick-up and drop-off, tours as described, fuel for guided drives, all taxes and local fees.

Does not include: Tourist visas, personal travel insurance, entrance to points of interests during tours not included in the tours, airport departure tax, lunch and dinner (when not at the all inclusive resort).

Tour summary: The tour is what we call 'semi-self-guided'. This means we arrange all the basics: Accommodations, transfers and essential guided tours, walks and drives. You manage your own free time outside of set activities included and make your own way from your accommodations to a nearby bus terminal with no guide to take care of you 24/7.

In short, our tours are for those who do not need or want to be a with a big group and a 24/7 guide to be comfortable, but who aren't comfortable either arriving in Cuba with nothing arranged and no plans. People who enjoy having a basic itinerary down and knowing they will meet Cubans eager to tell them about the country, professional English speaking guides for basic tours preparing them to explore on their own afterwards.

The tour is perfect for people comfortable improvising and having time on their own. It is not perfect for people who have perhaps never traveled abroad and are not comfortable arranging anything on their own or doing some walking and exploring on their own in what is otherwise one of the safest countries on the planet.

Notes on room configuration:

* Sleeping 3 PX in 1 room in a casa, the third will usually sleep in a single. Not recommended for people requiring a quality bed. The third bed is often not very comfortable. Doable for an uncomplicated teen.

** Sleeping 4 PX in one room is only possible if at least one is a smaller child sharing the parents double and one is a child/teen fine with sleeping in a single bed that may or may not be very comfortable.

- Three adults are recommended to book at least two rooms in a casa particular.

- Two adults in one room should be ready to share a double. If two adults want to be completely sure of having seperate beds, they should book two rooms. Many houses do not offer twin double rooms.

The above is for casas particulares. At a resort a triple room will have three beds.
