One of Havanas best hotels, the Iberostar Parque Central sits in probably the best spot there is for any tourist looking to be close to everything. A fairly modern hotel, it holds few to no 'colonial surprises'. If you are looking for a hotel that oozes colonial charm and time warp, this is not your best choice. If, on the other hand, you're looking for a hotel of international standards, the Parque Central is a perfect choice.

+ / Rooftop pool and bar, perfect location, taxis and parking right outside, on a busy square, so no walking poorly lit streets to get home to the hotel.

- / Little colonial charm, doesn't really say 'Havana!'. Could be anywhere in the world. Which might be a plus for some.
