Santiago de Cuba | Cubas second largest city, warm, pumping Santiago has a vibe of it's own and a beautiful colonial core full of music and dance.

Holguín | City of plazas, Holguín is the center of Eastern Cuba and is also the birth place of Fidel Castro.

Baracoa | Cubas first town and original capital, issolated on the far Eastern point of Cuba, a beautiful little pearl set in a lush area at the foot of the impressive El Yunque mountain with loads of options for hiking and nature walks. (included from 20 nights)

Santa Clara | University city and famous for being the spot where Fidel Castro and Che Guevara gave the crucial blow to Batista to overcome and win the country. Che Guevaras mausoleum is likely the city's biggest attraction.

Tour summary: The tour is what we call 'semi-self-guided'. This means we arrange all the basics: Accommodations, transfers and essential guided tours, walks and drives. You manage your own free time outside of set activities included and make your own way from your accommodations to a nearby bus terminal with no guide to take care of you 24/7.

In short, our tours are for those who do not need or want to be a with a big group and a 24/7 guide to be comfortable, but who aren't comfortable either arriving in Cuba with nothing arranged and no plans. People who enjoy having a basic itinerary down and knowing they will meet Cubans eager to tell them about the country, professional English speaking guides for basic tours preparing them to explore on their own afterwards.

The tour is perfect for people comfortable improvising and having time on their own. It is not perfect for people who have perhaps never traveled abroad and are not comfortable arranging anything on their own or doing some walking and exploring on their own in what is otherwise one of the safest countries on the planet.
