The Deauville is a great option for its prime location and its amazing views (especially from the rooms up high) and it's the cheapest option in Old Havana and Centro Habana for a hotel with a pool. The downside is that it's a soulless concrete structure with no charm inside. Rooms are simple, but all have balconies and aircon. It's a Cuban 3 star hotel, the pool probably carries home a star by itself, most travelers would call it a 2 star hotel. The disco down below is best avoided, not least for its intolerable temperatures in a window-less, aircon less basement.
